Sweden will take part in the World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup final
Sweden will take part in the World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup final which will be held on Sakhalin. Sweden will be represented by two athletes – Ebba Arsjo and Aaron Lindstrom. Both are in the category of "standing".
20-year-old Ebba Arsjo Swedish media called a new star. Last season, which was her debut, she won two World Cup victories in giant slalom. After a successful debut, she became a gold candidate for the Paralympic Games in Beijing 2022.
Another great hope of Sweden for the future of skiing is Aaron Lindstrom. He reached the podium of the World Championship at the age of 17 and took the second place. The young man describes himself as an extremely dedicated athlete, ready to train, and will do everything in his power to become one of the best skiers in the world. He made his debut at the Pyeongchang Paralympics on 2018, where he was the youngest member of the Swedish team. The best result was seventh place in the slalom discipline.
Recall that the World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup final is scheduled in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk from February 21 to March 8, 2021. It will be held on the slopes of the ski resort "Gorny Vozdukh".
